Which is more reasonable? A 7yr who wears lipgloss? Or a 9yr who has an Ipod?

I can only semi-agree with you. The lip gloss thing isn't good. A 7 year old who feels lip gloss is necessary doesn't speak to well for the self esteem. Report Abuse

neither. kids are trying to grow up way too fast.
both are completely reasonable. just ask them. though you have to understand that questioning them about this may not be at all reasonable to them.

I think both is fine, I just bought my 8 year old nephew a i pod and my 3 year old niece wears lip gloss all the time...

neither. i didnt wear any kind of make up til i was 18 and that was only the powder and lipgloss. nothing more. its better to look natural than all covered. and for a 7 year old. the years pass by shes gonna want more and more than just lipgloss. they should be playing iwth barbies not makeup of any sort. and for the 9 year old geez. but it kinda beats sitting in front of the tv playing games. unless he/she is hearing the ipod while playing games. geez. i want an ipod so i can use it to go work out. but damn lol. all the kids are growing tooo fast
i would say a 9 yo with the ipod because the ipod is used for music and all ages can appreciate music but lip gloss is mainly used for looking older in my opinion

Lip Gloss sounds more reasonable... A little gloss is alright. :-)
neither. Both of these things are totally innocent.
I think a very light lipgloss is reasonable for a 7-year-old, as long as it was very light lipgloss (no dark colors). The iPod for a 9 year old is probably a bit over the top because it's likely the kid will misplace it or damage it at that young age.
7 year old with lipgloss, sometimes kids just like to play dress up.
