will the spf in it still work or not?

i mean like after the lipgloss comes off of my lipsIf i put a spf lipgloss on and it rubs off..?
Any product with an SPF factor will need to be re-applied at least every two hours to actually get that level of protection. SPF stands for Skin Protection Factor. A product with an SPF factor of 15, for example, provides a barrier of protection from the sun that is 15 times stronger than if you wore nothing at all. Even if your gloss isn't completely wearing off, you should reapply it or another SPF-containing product every couple of hours.

Your best bet is to either re-apply the lip gloss, or carry another lipcare product to apply when the lip gloss wears off. I carry Blistex Medicated Mint with me in my purse and it has an SPF of 15. It's great that you are using a lip gloss with an SPF, because lip gloss without it can actually increase your risk of sun damage or even lip cancer later in life. Probably because it would have soaked in to your lips.

Lipgloss is supposed to come off, it only stays on temporarily, and the shine is not supposed to last long either.
No. If the gloss is gone, so is the SPF. You have to reapply often.
