thanksAfter applying lipgloss my lips go ';chappy';?

Try using Carmex for a few days (or weeks, depending on how ';chappy'; your lips become). Or Vaseline. Both are uncomfortable and hard for eating/drinking, but help a great deal (trust me, I've had experience! The white flakes went away after a while, just as long as I didn't bite or try to scrape them off with my teeth). You can also use Blistex or ChapStick under a thin layer of lip gloss. These can all be found at Rite Aid at a cheap, reasonable price.
the gloss probably isnt moisturising your lips in that case, its probably drying them (yes some can do that!) dry applying a clear balm under the gloss to create a barrier and see if that helps.

ive never been a fan of gloss as i find it causes the same problem for me.

you could also try mixing a small amount of lipstick with a balm to create a coloured gloss.

also dont use vasaline, its one of the worst for drying out the lip area after a while!
the same thing happens to me

the lip gloss takes all the moisture out of your lips

i started putting on a thick amount of Chap Stick (the classic, cherry one) it goes on good and gives a little gloss all on its own and the lip gloss sticks to the chap stick really good

and every time i reapply the lip gloss i reapply the chap stick too
Maybe you should try another brand of lip gloss. Also before you aplly lip gloss and whenever your not wearing it applya chapstick or something like Soft Lips of Bert's Bees. It will keep your lips even more smooth and you shouldn't have the chappy look when u go and put ur lipgloss on :)
you should change your lip gloss. Maybe the company doesn't suit you.

Also, disgudting it may sound, put glycerine once in a while when you are home. Might help.
Are you using lip gloss with glitter? Or eating food when this happens? Those are two reasons why your lips would get chappy and dry. Try using chapstick underneath and reapplying your lipgloss more often !
yeah put chapstick on first, then lip gloss. or get some that is chapstick but also makes your lips look good like chapstick.
Put some vasaline on your lips before applying the lipgloss.
buy some blistex and put it on underneath your lipgloss. it will help keep your lips moist. plus you wont have to use as much lipgloss either =)
don't use lipgoss
