Thanks heaps ;-)Making your own coloured lipgloss/lipstick?
For the best lip gloss you have to mix together equal parts of everything in this order : almond paste, bee's wax, cocoa butter, vitamin E and flavored oil and honey. Once all of yours ingredients are completely combined add any food coloring as you prefer.Making your own coloured lipgloss/lipstick?
Prescriptives at any department store sells a line of mix and match cosmetics.

What you can do is ask your Avon rep for samples of lipsticks in your favorite shade. Buy a small lipstick container to mix your palette of colors. You can buy any paint pallette mixer in an art supply store. Use a Popsicle stick or spatula to mix the colors. You can apply some NARS body shimmer powder to mix with your lipstick shade. Use a paint or lip brush to apply the shade on your lips...lightly.

Before applying shade, apply on your lips a thin layer of vaseline or lip gloss as a base. This will make your shades go on smoothly. Blot with a cotton ball or tissue to take off the excess. Apply again.

For your chosen shade:

Get a dark purple lipstick and mix it with iridescent pink lipstick. Again, mix it in a container and mix dark purple with light pink. Apply the vaseline or lip gloss as a base and follow the steps I mentioned above for your desired shade.

You now have a posh finish.
take vasaleine (??? sry bout spelling) and you mix it with koolade thats the shade you want.... add a little at a time untill you get the color you are looking for
Materials :

Vegetable shortening, honey, unsweetened drink mix (eg. Kool-Aid), hot water

Use a small bowl to mix 1 tbsp of the solid vegetable shortening and 1 tsp of honey. In a separate bowl, mix the drink mix and 1/4 tsp of hot water until it is dissolved. Stir in as much of the drink mix as possible. The actual amount will depend on the temperature of water. The more you can dissolve, the stronger the flavour will be.

You can choose the color and flavor of you lip gloss by the type of drink mix you use.

Add one drop of the water mixture to the shortening/honey base. Stir well. Repeat until you get the color/flavor combination you want. Pour into a clean container or old lip gloss pot.

Store in the refrigerator. Keeps for 3 days, but it tastes so good that you will use it up very fast!
